Development of plastic materials
The development of materials means that PVC increasingly challenges conventional solutions. Today there are several solutions in thermoplastics that can reduce both weight and costs, without compromising on either finish or overall quality. Where, for example, a rubber strip was the only alternative for a long time, today there are a number of new plastic alternatives.
New plastic materials and various combinations such as co-extruded profiles that have several properties in one and the same solution, i.e. hard + soft, sealing + fixing, etc. One and the same part can replace several other sub-components, shorten the production chain and facilitate assembly.
